Abstract submission Policy and Regulations

With the submission of an abstract to MID-TERM IASO 2020, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, the presenting author

Certifies to be an investigator with substantial involvement in the clinical study presented in the abstract, Accepts responsibility for the accuracy of the submitted abstract.

Accepts to be the contact person for all correspondence regarding the abstract and inform co‐ authors of its status, confirms that all co‐authors are aware of and agree to the content of the abstract and support the data presented.

States that for all studies involving human or animal subjects, permission has been obtained from the relevant regulatory authority and informed consent given where appropriate.

Abstract format Abstracts must be submitted in good English and carefully proofread to ensure the accuracy of published material. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject abstracts submitted in poor English or may request an immediate revision by the author.

Conference registration is Mandatory for all presenting authors

If accepted the presenting author will adhere to the instruction /guidelines of presentation which will be intimated in due course

All abstracts are to be submitted online only through conference website

Abstract submission deadline: 31th January 2020

Abstracts should be structured to include the following 4 sections:

  • Background: introductory sentence specifying the purpose of the study
  • Subjects & and methods: brief description of relevant experimental procedures
  • Results: summary of the results of the investigation
  • Conclusions: a statement of the main conclusions
  • The abstract submission system will not accept abstracts that exceed 2900 characters (body of the abstract including spaces and 1 table) and submission cannot be completed.

Abstract Selection and Formats

Review Abstracts submitted for presentation will be reviewed by the scientific committee and will be judged solely on the data submitted. The decision of the scientific committee regarding all matters including mode and type of presentation is final.

The presenting author willbe communicated atleast 2 weeks before the date of conference regarding instructions, date, time and mode and of presentation through an e-mail.

Abstract awards:

3 best poster/video/oral presentations will be awarded a cash prize*

*Those who are not member of IASO, the cash prize will be adjusted towards membership/associate membership fee
